Reiki did not start as a healing method but as a spiritual path, which in the right way for everyone, helps us connect with our true nature.

 

   
"In summary, the goal of inner Buddhism is the shunyata, the emptiness. This emptiness is not a negative state of absence. Rather, we should understand it as the transcendence of duality. At the moment in which the "self" is no longer distinguished from the "other", the unity of the whole has been restored again. The "self" exists only in our imagination, in our mind. We create the ego and the world with our thoughts. Our natural state of being is the void, the observer, a void untroubled by qualities, by the present and the future.
